Tallest Mountain! August 23, 2009
At the beginning of summer, Club Penguin announced that a new room would soon be available in Club Penguin. During the Festival of Flight, the Tallest Mountain was open to members and penguins were able to fly up in hot air balloons to explore the unknown. Evidence has progressed and I believe that the Tallest Mountain will be available to all penguins soon. You can check out a new screen at the HQ which could be used to monitor the Tallest Mountain:
Back in June, an update was announced on the Club Penguin blog about a new room which would be available later this summer. Here’s a sneak peek of what was given then:
With the Festival of Flight ending, and the Tallest Mountain leaving, Club Penguin may decide to make this a permanent room sometime soon.
Aqua August 23, 2009
You can purchase the new aqua color from the Gift Shop in Club Penguin, but you can’t start it out as your penguin’s first color. Penguins can currently start there penguin out as the colors: navy blue, light green, dark pink, yellow, purple, green, orange, black, red, lime green, brown, pink, and light blue. Here’s a peek of the current list of colors:
I am hoping that Club Penguin will catch on soon and add the aqua color to the list. Penguins should be able to start out with the new aqua color. I know that if I was given the choice when Club Penguin started, I would’ve chosen aqua. Let Kingpin2 know what you think about the aqua color.

Hello Penguins!
Today Club Penguin is in the sky!! The Festival of Flight party is finally here. Lots of you seem to be liking the new green propeller hat and checking out the view from the floor in the Night Club. Members can ride on a Hot Air Balloon and visit the Tallest Mountain where they’ll find their own jetpack. The team thinks it’s cool how a bunch of penguins are on the Iceberg throwing snowballs at the island above

Penguins may not be able to fly, but that doesn’t mean that Club Penguin can’t! In a few days, for the first time ever, Club Penguin will be an island in the sky. Here’s a sneak peek of the behind the scenes concept on the Festival of Flight:
When Club Penguin first thought of the idea of putting Club Penguin in the sky, they started asking themselves some questions. What happens to the Beach or the coastline of the Cove? Can penguins still play Hydro-Hopper? And what does a device powerful enough to lift an entire island even look like, and where would we put it? For the full answer you’ll have to wait until the party, but I’m sure all of you may have an idea!

There’s tons of buzz about the Festival of Flight party that’s coming August 14 – 18…and lots of creative stuff happening all over the island. Lots of you are already helping to get ready:
We’ve also heard that some of you were wondering if the Underwater Adventure was going to be another party like the Festival of Flight, but it’s actually going to be a brand new Stage play! It’ll start on August 21 – just in time for you to trade your flight-gear into fish-tails.
